The Saint-Denis Cathedral located just north of Paris, is a historic Gothic-style basilica which served as a former medieval abbey church from the 12th century where many French monarchs and queens are buried. This cathedral is considered the first major structure to embody Gothic architecture, featuring pointed arches, flying buttresses, and stunning stained glass windows.
Note: King Charlamagne's (my 41st great-grandfather) father Pepin and Grandfather Charles Martel are buried here.
