Harrington Ink Press is dedicated to publishing meticulously researched genealogy and family history books inspired by the thorough, hands-on research approach. Our work goes beyond digital archives, involving extensive travel to local, county, and state repositories where original documents—such as land deeds, probate records, church registers, and census data—are carefully examined.
Kimberly Ann Harrington, an experienced genealogist and researcher, founded Harrington Ink Press to independently publish her genealogy and historical research. With a passion for uncovering authentic family stories, she personally visits historic sites and archives to ensure that her books are grounded in primary sources and presents detailed, accurate, and engaging family histories.
By combining diligent, travel-based research with comprehensive analysis, Harrington Ink Press creates compelling, well-documented publications that not only help families reconnect with their roots but also preserve rich cultural legacies for generations to come.

As an enthusiastic genealogist and researcher, my dedication lies in revealing narratives that provide understanding of our historical heritage. For more than three decades, I have been actively investigating my family history, which has included significant travel and research efforts. Throughout this time, I have developed a substantial level of expertise in genealogical research, emphasizing the importance of historical accuracy in my discoveries. My investigations have taken me across the United States to various state archives, as well as to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City and the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. With prior experience in the archival field, I am working on my thesis paper to complete my graduate degree. Additionally, I am an active member of the Connecticut Society of Genealogists and serve as the curator for a local historical society. I am also a member of various historical societies, actively collaborating to preserve New England history.
My commitment to authentic research arises from my belief that family history holds valuable insights that deserve precise preservation. Through my work, I strive to showcase personal narratives found within historical documents, effectively telling the story of our past.
Along with being passionate academic of history and research, I am also an enthusiastic collector of historical literature, particularly focused on Colonial America as well as 19th-century Louisiana and Mississippi history. My other interests include reading, embroidery, and Southern cooking. Originally hailing from Mississippi, these days I live in the charming countryside of Litchfield County, Connecticut, where I continue my family research.
